About the Project
Join a short-term research internship supporting a project that analyses large-scale and spatial datasets to inform governance and development decisions. Work at the intersection of data science, policy research, and geospatial analytics.
Who We’re Looking For
Students or researchers currently pursuing or holding a Master’s, M.Phil., or Ph.D. from a premier institution
Preferred disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Geography, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, or Related Quantitative Fields
Essential Skills
Experience working with large datasets(surveys, admin data, or satellite/remote sensing)
Proficiency in Python / R / SQL / GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, or GEE)
Ability to clean, merge, and visualize multi-source data
Strong analytical mindset with attention to data quality and reproducibility
Preferred Skills
Exposure to spatial econometrics, machine learning, or geospatial analytics
Experience in remote sensing, raster analysis, or night-lights data
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, etc.)
