The Opportunity
Sattva is looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented and execution-focused Associate Consultant to support the leadership and senior management team in driving business growth across North India.
This role sits at the intersection of growth strategy, business development, pre-sales, and sales operations. Working closely with senior managers and leadership, the Associate Consultant will support the execution of Sattva’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy by building market intelligence, developing high-quality client-facing collateral, and maintaining sales governance processes for effective client engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, curating structured and well-researched collateral, coordinating across multiple stakeholders, and is looking to build a strong foundation in consulting, sales strategy and business development within the impact ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Go-to-Market Strategy & Planning
Support the execution of Sattva’s North India GTM strategy across multiple sectors and business units.
Support the classification of strategic accounts across different engagement stages and assist in capturing and regularly updating such data.
Regularly update account intelligence by analysing business priorities, CSR and ESG strategies, sustainability commitments, leadership priorities, partnerships and whitespace opportunities, with guidance from senior management.
Assist in planning and execution of strategic client engagement initiatives including executive meetings, industry events, roundtables, networking forums and leadership outreach.
Assist in developing Talking Points and Pitch Decks for leadership prior to meetings.
2. Market Research & Strategic Intelligence
Conduct high-quality secondary research across industries, companies, CSR, ESG, sustainability, philanthropy and emerging market trends.
Support senior management in preparing for strategic client meetings through research, opportunity assessments, meeting briefs and executive summaries.
Develop high-quality client-facing collateral including proposals, presentations, concept notes, capability decks, briefing notes, budget analyses and case studies under the guidance of senior team members.
Support the development of sector-specific insights that strengthen client conversations and market positioning.
Contribute to maintaining repositories of market intelligence, templates and reusable knowledge assets.
3. Sales Operations, Governance & CRM Management
Support governance of the North India business development pipeline through maintaining structured trackers and dashboards.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support timely completion of GTM activities, deliverables and follow-ups in maintaining Salesforce data by ensuring accurate and timely updates of historic and ongoing account information, client interactions, opportunity stages, meeting notes, proposals and follow-up actions
Support account owners by maintaining accurate pipeline information and ensuring sales data remains complete and up to date
Support weekly pipeline reviews by tracking action items, following up on pending activities and helping maintain governance processes, templates and operating mechanisms across the sales lifecycle.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with peers, senior managers and cross-functional teams to support research, account intelligence, proposal development, and sales enablement activities.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Business Units to gather inputs and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Contribute to creating high-quality presentations and data analysis by working closely with delivery teams, domain experts and leadership.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
A graduate degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Communications or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
2-4 years of experience in consulting, research, business development, pre-sales, sales operations or a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical and research capabilities (including through use of AI) with the ability to synthesise information into structured insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is desirable; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, with strong coordination skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are desirable.
Interest in CSR, ESG, sustainability, philanthropy or impact consulting will be an added advantage.
