Foundations team collaborates with a network of global philanthropic foundations, alongside multilateral aid agencies, aiming to inform, influence, and profoundly impact social and environmental outcomes resulting from their investments in diverse sectors such as education, child development, gender, health, and more. Our primary focus is on catalysing ecosystem transformation by rigorously solving problems, formulating strategic solutions which are logically sound, effective on the ground and ensuring all stakeholders are effectively engaged while their interests are covered.
The Opportunity
This role is geared at enabling the private sector adoption of the flagship digital health initiative of the Govt - Ayushman Digital Health Mission (ABDM) launched in 2021. Sattva is currently part of a long term initiative to support private philanthropic partners in integrating their programs and initiatives with ABDM. We are looking for a person familiar with digital health adoption and has demonstrable experience of driving ABDM implementation on-ground for healthcare entities. As an Associate Consultant in the larger ABDM team, you will support various philanthropic partners and health entities in their journey to digitize effectively and ensure value to both end users and patients. The role will include a lot of on-ground engagement and in-person interactions with different stakeholders. You will get an opportunity to work closely with charitable hospitals, CSRs and philanthropic organizations and engage deeply with the wider ecosystem of ABDM solution providers, implementing partners, CSR leadership and government officials. This is an implementation focused role.
Roles & Responsibilities
Philanthropic Engagement
Undertake digital health assessments of clinical workflows, facility and staff readiness and existing digital tools being used to evaluate digital maturity
Identify technical requirements, constraints and opportunities for each entity to achieve their digital health objectives
Engage with leadership, program officers and frontline health staff to support in framing the digital health strategy, value proposition and roadmap for different CSRs and charitable organizations
Build credibility and influence with the middle management of client organisations through proactive engagement and demonstrated experience.
Driving Adoption
Lead end to end execution of the digital health roadmap for different philanthropic entities
Work with technical partners to guide integrators and solution providers on ABDM integration, ensuring user friendly workflows and effective integration
Define implementation plan and handhold entities through the journey while actively solving for bottlenecks and challenges
Engage and closely support hospital teams, CSR program teams, solution vendors, IT teams and patients to successfully adopt specific use cases. Ensure operational rigour, build strong relationship and deliver value to each stakeholder
Undertake regular field visits to ensure execution as per project timelines and support in documenting progress and learnings from the field
Track milestones and report project-related risks, mitigating them in consultation with the project lead
To accelerate the private sector adoption of ABDM, we are looking for candidates having -
Overall 2-4 years of experience in consulting or private sector business, project management & complex operations, stakeholder management in corporate, social enterprises, consulting firms or government bodies
At least 1-2 years of experience on ABDM implementation projects and thorough operational understanding of ABDM integration across different milestones
Strong familiarity with ABDM history, building blocks, existing architecture and different technical and implementing partners in the ecosystem
Depth of knowledge on digital health and ABDM solutions and emerging use cases
Good understanding of operational workflows of health facilities of different sizes- clinics, small and large hospitals
Strong execution capabilities – the ability to translate a project from its conceptual design to actual on ground execution. The drive to ‘make things happen’
Skilled in both written communication and presentations
Flexibility and resilience in response to changing circumstances or environments, effectively adjusting behaviors and approaches to meet new challenges or opportunities
