About Sustainability and Business Advisory


Our Sustainability and Business Advisory unit partners with Corporates and Funders to design and implement strategic interventions that support their sustainability goals. We craft focused strategies and forward-looking action plans, grounded in rigorous research and data-driven insights, to enable a meaningful transition towards net zero.


About the role:


The ideal candidate will contribute to the delivery and operational execution of client-facing projects across Sattva’s Sustainability and Business Advisory Unit. The role involves supporting both program implementation and advisory engagements through rigorous data collection, analysis, and management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work closely with project teams to generate data-driven insights, maintain high-quality datasets, and ensure smooth project operations, thereby enabling timely and impactful client deliverables. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, verify, validate, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support project insights and decision-making, including developing structured datasets and conducting basic data analyses under the guidance of the project lead.

  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including desk research, stakeholder interactions, and data gathering, to support project deliverables and advisory outputs.

  • Assist in the execution of client-facing projects across advisory and program implementation engagements, contributing to timely and high-quality delivery.

  • Coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders, managing information flows, timelines, and follow-ups to support ongoing data-driven initiatives.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, MoMs, and regular project updates for internal and client communication.

  • Prepare first drafts of well-structured, clearly formatted client deliverables, reports, and presentations, incorporating feedback from project leads and senior team members.

  • Support day-to-day project operations, including managing logistics, scheduling and setting up internal and external calls, and coordinating with internal teams and partners as required.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or related fields.

  • Demonstrates understanding of ESG standards and reporting frameworks such as GRI, ESRS, and BRSR.

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (including internships or project-based work) in sustainability, consulting, research, ESG, or related domains.

  • Strong orientation toward quality of deliverables, timelines, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to analyze data, prepare insights, and contribute to reporting narratives; basic proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or similar data analysis platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in team-based environments, receive feedback constructively, and demonstrate a willingness to learn in a fast-paced consulting setup.
