The Opportunity
Sattva is scaling internal and client-facing AI initiatives, especially around knowledge management, app prototyping, and BU specific AI adoption.We are looking for an AI Engineering Intern to help our tech team translate business needs into working prototypes and run structured AI experiments.
Key Responsibilities
Use-case discovery & requirements
Partner with business teams to understand workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes.
Convert use cases into clear specs: user stories, data needs, constraints, and success metrics (what “good” looks like)
Rapidly build POCs/MVPs using AI tools and LLM APIs.
Build simple internal apps or utilities (scripts, dashboards, small web apps) to prove value quickly.
Run comparisons across model/tool choices; document findings and recommend what to scale.
Create small test sets / evaluation rubrics so the team can measure quality over time.
Support KM data migration and cleanup (structuring and tagging metadata) to make the knowledge base easily discoverable and usable via Gemini.
Assist with pilots for internal KM search workflows (e.g., controlled testing before org-wide rollout)
Who should apply:
Curiosity, speed, and willingness to iterate based on feedback.
CS / IS (or equivalent) background; comfortable writing code (Python/ JavaScript).
Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, building basic web apps.
Ability to talk to non-technical stakeholders, capture requirements, and explain trade-offs.
Outcome-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to ship incremental improvements.
