About the Team
Our Corporate Advisory team’s core objective is to be strategic advisors in solving social problems; so as to together achieve orbit shifting impact. Our focus is on enabling holistic organisation and ecosystem transformation – by rigorously solving problems, formulating strategic solutions which are logically sound and effective on the ground and ensuring all stakeholders are effectively engaged and their interests are covered.
Our expertise and work with Corporates in CSR covers:
CSR Strategy, flagship programme design, impact communication and building CSR brand.
Impact Portfolio Advisory - CSR compliance, portfolio strategy and governance, social audit, programme monitoring and impact measurement.
End-to-end programme management through implementation support, strategic advisory and in house tools.
The Opportunity
At Sattva, we believe in outcome-orientation in everything we do. Our quality in delivery and impact focus stand out in the ecosystem, and Engagement Managers must strive to embody that in their role. The key expectations for this role include but are not limited to the following:
Lead M&E Strategy and Execution: Design, champion, and oversee the implementation of comprehensive Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks, Logical Frameworks (LogFrames), Theory of Change (ToC) models, and impact assessment methodologies for Corporate client projects.
Drive Data Quality and Rigour: Ensure projects are well-planned and on time with the highest quality of M&E delivery. This includes developing robust indicators, data collection tools, and data analysis plans to measure both outputs and long-term outcomes.
Advisory and Client Management: Act as the internal and external Subject Matter Expert (SME) on M&E, providing expert advice to clients on measuring, documenting, and enhancing the social return on their CSR investments.
Specialized Skill Development: Build and strengthen Sattva's institutional capabilities in technical specializations like advanced M&E practices, impact auditing, data visualization, and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with multiple stakeholders, including third-party implementation agencies (as per requirement), internal project teams, and clients to ensure M&E activities are integrated seamlessly and findings are actionable.
Knowledge Leadership: Translate complex M&E findings into clear, compelling, and compliant reports and presentations
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for exceptional individuals who are passionate and align with our vision of creating an impact on the ground and have the following profile:
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master's in Development Studies, Statistics, or Economics) with 6-8 years of experience in M&E, impact assessment, or management consulting/advisory roles.
- Proven deep expertise in designing and leading complex M&E projects in the social/development sector, including experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Demonstrable track record of advising senior leaders on data-driven decision-making and impact measurement.
- Direct experience working with various thematic areas (e.g., Health, Education, Livelihoods, Environment) and tailoring M&E approaches to different intervention types.
- Certification/training in M&E, Advanced Analytics, or Impact Evaluation is highly preferred. Prior knowledge of CSR law, SDG reporting, and compliance is a strong asset.
- Experience of working with teams across levels and functions.
- Exceptional analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in relevant data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, or advanced Excel).
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate complex methodological and data-driven ideas effectively to a non-technical audience.
- Deeply passionate and committed to creating lasting social impact, and a demonstrated interest in the social sector.
