The Role
We are hiring a Sales Intelligence Intern to institutionalize structured revenue tracking, pipeline analytics, deal-loss intelligence, and revenue reconciliation.
This is a highly data-intensive role. You will work daily with revenue and pipeline datasets, build structured analyses, and generate insights that directly inform leadership decisions on sales performance, forecasting, and growth. The internship offers exposure to how management uses data to take decisions on targets, risk mitigation, account prioritization, and business strategy.
Core Workstreams
Revenue Governance (monthly): Track Delivered Revenue (DR) and Total Contract Value (TCV) against quarterly and annual targets; diagnose variance by account, offering, and deal-size; flag slippages; publish structured dashboards with 4–6 week risk visibility.
Pipeline Health & Conversion Analytics (monthly): Conduct coverage ratio (pipeline vs target) analysis; compute stage-wise conversion rates; track opportunity ageing and slippage; analyse win rates and sales cycle length to identify bottlenecks.
Deal Loss Intelligence: Maintain structured loss-reason taxonomy; map losses to pricing, competition, capability, or relationship drivers; generate trend insights for corrective action.
Account & Trend Analysis: Analyse multi-year account growth, repeat vs new business contribution, revenue concentration, and volatility patterns to support growth decisions.
Revenue Reconciliation: Conduct month-on-month DR/TCV reconciliation and ensure data accuracy across reporting sources.
What We Are Looking For
Strong and genuine interest in Google Sheets, Excel, and working with data
Comfortable handling large datasets daily and performing structured analysis
Strong data modelling, variance analysis, and dashboarding ability
High attention to detail and strong data hygiene discipline
Ability to independently run recurring reporting cadences
Ability to convert numbers into concise, structured insights
Curiosity to understand how data informs sales and business decisions
Preferred background: Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
Why This Role Is Valuable
You will gain hands-on exposure to revenue governance, forecasting, and growth analytics, and see firsthand how leadership uses structured sales intelligence to drive business decisions.
