India Partner Network (IPN) is a technology-based platform incubated at Sattva, focused on making institutional capacity building accessible to small and mid-sized NGOs. Since its launch in August 2023, IPN has grown into a strong ecosystem with 3,500+ NGOs5,000+ users, a growing network of 100+ partners and service providers, and thousands of monthly engagements across resources, events, campaigns, and assessments. IPN supports NGOs through:

IPN operates with a startup mindset within Sattva, combining mission-driven impact with product thinking, experimentation, and rapid execution. The platform is on a growth trajectory and is expected to spin off as an independent entity, making this a unique opportunity to join early and contribute to shaping both the product and the organization.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Associate to join the IPN team. This role is for someone who enjoys figuring things out, when there are no obvious answers. This role is best suited for someone who is excited to work in an early-stage, fast-paced environment and wants to grow into a product role over time.

The role combines strong execution ownership with problem-solvingand product thinking for users who may not be digitally nativeYou will co-own product modules, support product owners, and work closely with the IPN Capacity Building Lead to translate real-world needs of NGOs into effective platform solutions.


Key responsibilities

1. Product Management & Execution

  • Co-own one or more product modules, with scope and ownership increasing over time

  • Support product owners in converting problem statements into clear requirements and execution plans.

  • Develop and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and detailed task breakdowns.

  • Plan, manage, and run engineering sprints in coordination with the tech team.

  • Maintain and prioritise the product and technical backlog.

  • Support product releases, testing, and go-live readiness.

  • Act as a bridge between NGO users, external partners/ intermediaries, internal stakeholders, and the engineering team.

  • Identify product-led improvement opportunities through observation, feedback, and data.

This role includes hands-on execution work such as content updates, data hygiene, and operational support alongside core product responsibilities.

2. Data & Insights

  • Track and monitor key product and engagement metrics

  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards (e.g., Amplitude)

  • Analyse data and qualitative feedback to generate actionable insights

  • Use data to identify usage patterns, drop-offs, and opportunities for improvement

Working knowledge of SQL is preferred; experience with analytics platforms is a strong plus.

3. Events, Directory & Ecosystem Support

  • Support product owners in executing platform-led events, campaigns, and ecosystem initiatives

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth setup, execution, and follow-through of events and product-led engagements

  • Contribute to strengthening IPN’s Directory and partner-facing offerings

  • Support onboarding and management of Service Providers, including documentation and coordination.

  • Engage with NGOs and ecosystem partners to gather feedback and understand on-ground needs

  • Support outreach and engagement efforts aimed at increasing product usage and transactions

Key qualifications and skillsets

Must-Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in product, analytics, or adjacent roles.

  • Strong execution mindset with the ability to think through problems.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

  • Proactive, ownership-driven approach to work.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills (including reporting writing and making presentations)

  • Genuine interest in the nonprofit / social impact ecosystem.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to product management or technology platforms.

  • Working knowledge of SQL.

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Amplitude.

  • Prior experience engaging with NGOs, service providers, or ecosystem partners.
